Life Coaching
Over a decade ago I was at a crossroad, having spent years working as a speaker agent & marketing executive, and I knew I needed to find a new path. I asked myself what direction I wanted to go in, and after much soul searching and contemplation discovered I wanted to become a life coach. A few months later I enrolled in the Coaching for Transformation program of Leadership that Works, and was overjoyed when I completed my training and became a Certified Professional Coach. My life now had a new purpose.
Fast forward to 2025, as a Life Coach, I work with people wherever they are on their path, helping them to recognize their passion & purpose, in order to develop and design the life they want to live. My commitment is that together we will create an environment that supports the blossoming of your talent and fulfillment of your dreams. We will start with a deep conversation where we will discover what you want and bring your desires into the light so that vision that you yearn for can become realized.
If you already know the transformational changes you want to make, we will strategize a plan, so you can stay on track & remain accountable to your goals.
Moving forward is not always straightforward. Often there are roadblocks or old beliefs that want to derail you. Together we will explore what emerges, build structures that support your decisions and take the actions needed to fulfill your vision.
Procrastination is a common roadblock! We will work on effective strategies to overcome procrastination moving forward effectively and with confidence.
The journey may uncover the unexpected:
You may want to write a novel rather than go back to school for a Masters
You may decide to put your family first and need to make more strategic work choices
You may realize that you want to be a business thought leader, rather than an executive.
My life coaching practice has grown to include a cross section of professionals who want to figure out what they want to do next, for example:
A journalist who decided to pursue a career in foreign affairs;
A therapist who decided to recommit to their creative passions of singing and playing the piano;
A Fashion Executive whose upcoming retirement allowed for a pivot to becoming a mental health advocate;
A retired lawyer who decided to write their memoir;
An HR executive who left their corporate position to become a thought leader and launch a management consulting firm.
There are no right answers, there is only what you truly want. Once we determine that, we will get busy clearing the path for you to succeed.
“I cannot recommend Helen enough, even if you are on the fence about what exactly your career trajectory should follow. She listens with deep respect and compassion and asks just the right questions to get you to come to the realization on your own. A coach who helps you find your “Why” is golden. If you get the chance to work with Helen, do not miss out!”
